yes only gt-s have 4a-ge. but i have seen a gt model in usa. it was pretty much a sr-5 with a 4a-g. because the gt-s had all the features, like power windows, sunroof, etc. only for ae92 though.

sniper- if you get the engine from the 92, you still have a ways to go, you could always snag one for a spare...just keep looking for an 86. it will be better to swap what you need to, rather than searching aimlessly. oh i believe the 92 of usa only has bigport TVIS. no red top. the 92 has red on the valve covers but not the red of a RED top. be patient!!!
