To me it looks like an Toyota/Lexus V8 (1UZ-FE, 2UZ-FE or 3UZ-FE for instance)
1UZ - 4.0 (from Toyota Soarer, Lexus LS400) 2UZ - 4.7 (from LandCruiser 100) 3UZ - 4.3 (from Lexus LS430, SC430 and so on) I don't know the specs of these engines //edit: i know for sure it's a Toyota V8, just look at the intake  //edit2: 1UZ (most likely that the AE86 has this one) delivers 194 KW @ 5200RPM and 353Nm @ ????RPM 2UZ delivers 170kW @ 4800rpm (less than the 1UZ, but this one is more built for torque) and 410 Nm @ 3400RPM. 3UZ delivers 210Kw @ 5600RPM and 419Nm @ 3500RPM.
