I cleaned the connectors all nice and shiny (thx Andre and mux). I think that was one of the problems before. So I went and did that lightbulb test to see if the gauge moves (Thanks to the manual I downloaded from here).
The lightbulb lit and the gauge moved, so I'm guessing that the gauge and wiring is fine. The sensor is probably where the problem lies. Any other suggestions to what I should do? Strictly speaking I didn't use a 3.4w bulb as it says in the manual, I just used one of the bulbs out of the gauge cluster. This shouldn't be a problem should it? Cheers guys for all you input! ![]() At the moment I would say it is the sensor, so if you guys agree, I will go get a new one from toyota. Trueno for sale! |
