Adjusting handbrakes (+ back up light with pictures)

Hello All,

I'm new here and have already a question for my Hatchi.

I want to adjust the handbrake cable for the right side of the car. I already have a new cable on the left, but now the right side wouldn't lock? Is it possible to adjust only the rightside?
