I think they should fit without an issue:
According to a vintage catalogue, the TS-X11 speakers are 300 mm long, 135 mm wide and 191 mm tall. According to the Pioneer re-release, the TS-X40 speakers are 308 mm long, 129 mm wide and 192 mm tall.

The TS-X40 are 6 mm less wide (so less deep towards the rear window) and 1 mm taller. The length should be an issue as there is plenty of room on the parcel shelf transversely.
