Yes, the A/C works. It was converted to R134a already in Japan from the original R12 cooling medium.

You're so lucky, I tried converting without changing the seals and it worked for 6 months until it leaked lmao
It was stupidly cold though! Glad yours was converted before you got it, I still need to figure it out xD
