So I asked who bought it and got it from him ![]() So did some more work because I want to get the car registered tomorrow. It's basically finished except from some things I butchered together to get it working which I'll redo later. Tried to make the car as road-legal as possible to make a decent appearance. The MOT will be done later, this is just to get license plates. Brake lines are in and the bigger mastercilinder from the Celica is fitted. All works ![]() Switched both headlights because one was missing the adjusters (and the tab inside was broken of course, so the reflector was wobbling) and the other one had a crack in the glass. A good left one was in my spares but a right one had to be made from 2 other lights. One with a broken glass and one from a different car model (I don't remember which one, but Toyota). I used the guide from Clemens https://www.clemenszangl.de/2025/03/08/h...eadlights/ and opened both, switched the glass and closed them again. Next was a different electric fan. The previous one was from some random car and fitted poorly. Ordered a SPAL one, made a new fan shroud and fitted it to the aluminium radiator. The car doesn't have a sunroof but there is evidence that it used to have one. I can't understand what they did, but the frame is still in the car. The roof is nicely curved so it doesn't look like they just welded a plate in. Removing the frame is too much work (and a lot of risk in damaging paint ect.) so I made a cover will do for now.Put in the spare wheel, seats and seatbelts Battery is now in it's new location. It's one of those dry battery models so it doesn't need a full enclosure. The engine bay looks like this now. Not completely happy with the routing of all the wiring and all the parts but it will do for now. I like the bays where everything is invisible, but that's not very practical for service so it will always be a compromise. And fitted a set of "redlines" today. They won't stay on the car. Not a big fan of these lights in combination with the original spoiler. But I want to try to get the small plates in my documents so this is my solution. Hopefully they accept it
