How to adjust the odometer spindle

Today I was finally able to pick up the Trueno, so I removed my current gauge cluster to replace the speedometer:

I made a mistake with the mileage. I was convinced it was 100 kilometres more. But that doesn't matter that much to me, only 80 kilometres extra.

On the left speedometer unit, you can see where I glued a small piece of plastic. As the plastic is brittle, I didn't think it would be a good idea to plasti-weld it. I used epoxy glue on all sides, so that it should be supported now from all directions.

I don't expect the roller to put a lot of force on the plastic as it rolls over very very slowly, so all that has to do is to retain the shaft. I tested the unit with a drill and a speedo cable, and it didn't fail.

Only the speedo needle was a bit iffy to install in the correct spot.
