There is a lot more data in the EPC than it shows on the surface. But I haven't found out yet how to extract the exact production date from it yet. Juicebox made an attempt some time ago, but they failed as well.
There used to be a website with the production numbers per month, but the bookmark I made is unfortunately down. I copied them somewhere and I'll put them on the website tomorrow once I have found it.
Edit: I could also make a simple form where you can submit your serialnumber and then it will tell you which month it was produced and in which factory.
