Switching diffs for disc brakes?

True, that could also be the case. Many of our cars have been repaired with parts available and it's becoming harder and harder to find them.
Maybe a stupid question, but did you verify it still has an open diff?

That is a very good question and i have not. Would i have to Open the diff or does it have any identifier on it?
