Sadly the MA60 was given to me because the kit has a few missing and broken components (the kit is ancient and has a 1981 copyright date on the box), so its unlikely I'll build the scooter or the driver. I also won't be motorizing it, but here's what those parts look like:

Here's what I'm aiming for with the build:


There's been plenty of work done to the Lime shell, but it doesn't show in photos so I won't bore anyone with it for now (its mostly been filling and sanding). Instead I'll explain the work done to the interior.

The real car has a 2-spoke steering wheel, so I've gone through the spare parts I have and I found something similar:




The front and rear seats are almost done, just a little more sanding to go. The rear headrests have been cut off and filled in, and the front seats have been cut down, then the headrest from a Fujimi kit was glued onto the top. The headrests were actually taken from the first 86 kit that I built many years ago, I gave up on the kit but I kept it just in case I needed spare parts.




I've also got the interior door panels to (mostly) match but I'm not showing the photos yet because they look very untidy (there's a lot of knife marks to get rid of), but they're coming along.

I also have an automatic gear lever to go in, so the interior is moving much faster than the exterior.
