Is this J160 also the same box that goes in the S2000?

Would be good to know for the future in case I sh*t a box and can just swap the bell housing over from a cheaper car.

S2000 boxes hold their money, at the moment, IS200 boxes don't!

from everything I've seen... they are NOT the same gearbox (although Wiki says they are)



The top photo shows the S2000 transmission - note the substantial differences in the external cases compared to the 3 known versions below... Altezza, Miata, S15. Note how the 3 lower versions have the same, or very similar egg crate center section - which is lacking in the S2000 version, while the S2000 transmission has the linkage going through a tube verses internally in the other 3.....
