As far as I can find you just need a pulse proportional to your speed, a hall sensor with 2 magnets on the drive shaft might work, 1 is enough, but with 2 you can balance the driveshaft out.
VDO sensors shouldn't be as expensive as the dash, hunt some on ebay if new ones are to expensive. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
