Looking at it, it might fall under the "limited use/specialist" MOT regs.
I'm not sure what it entails but it's to essentially relax the regs for cars that are quite clearly not "road cars" per-se but feature basic lights and safety features to enable it to be used on the roads. Best bet, is to find a local tester and ask him about it, buy him a case of beer - might struggle to find VB here though
