Check with Bilstein about re-valving to suit 400lb springs, from my experience they seem under damped in rebound and over damped in bump (190lb springs) They are very good with standard springs which I guess is what they are designed for.
The best way to ensure proper spring location without raising the ride height is to use a helper spring arrangement but be aware that the mating collar for the two springs is unlikely to fit over your coil over conversion if you used the weld on sleeve type. An analogue brain in a digital World |
