Contacted Brian Crower who confirmed the kit being capable of 9500rpm - does that sound realistic? The std 7a will do 7500 rpm safely.

9500 should be fine.........

I don't know what a standard 7A will do... that certain race shop doesn't use 7A cranks

BUT.... they don't spin them to 9500.... They spin them to about 8500-8800... and they are making about 230-240 whp (270+ @ the crank).

Why don't they spin them faster.... I never asked. By the way... They no longer spin the 77mm stroke "A" engines to 14,000. They have managed to get the same power with 4000 less rpm these days
