Dunno what the deal is in Denmark, but here the base models costs 40k€ of which almost 12k is environment tax (BPM). That is almost 30% of the price of the car!

When I read all this it makes me appreciate the system here - the only tax they know here goes by the name of corruption an ranges from 0-300% depending with whom you have to deal.
