Aram, I've got a pair of 6x9's in the rear parcel shelf.

That massively helps as you need it for the mid-range.

My setup is this:

Alpine double din head unit with Ipod connection.

4" mid with tweeters in the front dashboard standard speaker location. These have high pass filters so it limits the bass.

6x9s as a I said in the rear parcel shelf. I have a custom parcel shelf made of MDF.

The Blaupunkt Sub is in the wheel well and is powered by an amp. I already had an amp, but you can buy the Blaupunkt Sub with an amp for an extra £50/70 Euro. That'd be the way to go I think.

I use my car everyday. I have to say with the setup I have it is easily enough to overcome engine noise, so you can hear the music well. It has a good amount of depth and if I wanted to I can make it really kick arse with the bass. I'll be driving this car to Duderstadt in Germany for an MR2 show next month so I'm glad I've got it all installed now!
