I guess that's the best option since the other one doesn't even have oil behind it...
I'm affraid I ran my engine oil to hot this weekend. I installed sumpguard (alloy) so now there is no cooling on the sump from underneath (cooling wind) Anyone nows the effect on the oil temperature with a sumpguard installed. I drove sporty, but not pushing hard (no track, no race)? Oilcooler is standard. Engine consumed almost 1l over +-600km. Normally it's much less Does high oil temp (= high temp. on bearings etc..) kill the Engine directly or over longer time only... Hope the E/G is not F*cked I didn't hear or feel anything strange... |
