Drifting with stock power on the dry

I was struggling to get any angle in second gear but after reading it seems speed is the key, defiantly not something i can do round here on public roads or car parks, i'll have to prep my car for a trackday by the looks of it!

Man the fu** up You have a decent suspension, thats all a Corolla needs for a start. More speed, more clutch kick and e-brake, I do like shiftlock as well.
Once you get used to the low power it works quit good, what have you been drifting in the past? Maybe you just need to adapt your drifting technique to the car???
