We used these on some of the racers we built in uni. It really depends on what you do with it and which model/features you get. Integrated, using all sensor modules and lap timer software it is a pretty nice and integrated solution that can save you a lot of wiring etc.
Especially the predictive laptiming and last cornerspeed readouts are GREAT feedback for drivers (dunno if usefull for ze driftys). Otherwise it is just a very expensive tach/gauge. A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |
