"Clearcoat is added to Toyota vehicles with pearl, mica, opalescent or metallic exterior colors to contain the elements that give these colors added luster and shine. Toyota feels the factory paint application process on all vehicles is sufficient to protect and prolong the life of the paint on our vehicles."
So you don't need a clearcoat Wink
(but a clearcoat will better protect your paint)
