Sunday afternoon update:
Rear axle dropped, the car can now actually be turned in the rotisserie (it was way to heavy to do this before). Corny vid FTW. Never worked on the bottom of a car in this comfort before: Spiders left some freaky invasion of the body snatcher type eggs though: Levitation is one of my many talents: All in all I patched 1 hole in the floor, and replaced a dented section of frame rail where the car was lifted by a 2-pole bridge (Remember kids: these are the devil for old cars!). Sadly I found another 2 new holes in the front left corner shortly afterwards. Will need to drill out the first framerail to sill outrigger to fix it. This is starting to look more and more like cannabolics car by the week... Current doctrine is to patch a minimum of 2 holes a week, then clean another section that is suspect, or that needs to be welded. New holes will keep popping up, but I'm sure I will run out of them sooner or later. Some more pics of general garage-SK antics: ![]() ![]() ![]() Yes that is me growing a super mario mustache ![]() FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
