As recommended by Koni to me for spring rates of 6-10k, 8610-1437RACE.

Here's the email I got from them (back in '06)

Andrew, If you're going to run a camber plate in the front, I would recommend that you use part number 8610 1437RACE for the front which is designed to work better with those kinds of spring rates than the MR2 piece.

As for the rear, I would look at part number 8041 1186Sport which is forthe rear of a 95-later Mustang. The valving is pretty close and the shock is externally adjustable. The lower mount is a 12mm eye versus the stud that the Camaro has.

You can also use a 93-later Camaro rear (8242-1006SP1) if you're looking for a nice double adjustable setup for the car as well. I would not recommend the 8241-1140Sport which is the single adjustable for the 93-00 Camaro as the compression damping will be too firm for the smaller Corolla.

Thanks. Gordon

IIRC, to use the mustang shock you just push out the metal bushing in the center. The mustang shocks are held on using a bolt through the sleeve, but the AE86 uses a STUD with a retaining bolt/washer.

OR, supposedly AE92 front's, and SW20 fronts/rears can be used IIRC.

I would contact Koni and see what they have to say.

Andrew
