Good gauges for oil pressure / temp

I am debating wich gauges to get. Some are mechanical, some electrical and some have a stepper engine driving them. Which is best?

Mechanical: I don't really like because of the extra oil line into the car.
Electrical: Changes in voltages will change the reading. I know it doesn't matter but it might make me nervous... And I wont to have confidence in the reading - thats why I wont something else
Stepper: Hmm I not really sure how this works so I would like your oppinion

What should I get? Price does matter but its not my main concern...
