ARGH WHY?!?

ok, yesterday I decided to make a start on my car. First off I stripped out my boot to find this:

This has really upset me. I never knew it existed and am now sitting at home waiting for my neighbour to pop round (has a home business in car repair) to give me an idea on how it would cost to put it right.

So then I thought, since I have to wait while he is sorting out a few cars to get ready for an M.O.T I might aswell try and put the car up on the axle stands to do put on my lateral rod. But trying to find anywhere to put the jack is impossible. The car is too low to the ground So it looks like I may need to get either get new rear springs or dampers or both to make sure i'm not hitting speed bumps like I am currently.

I#ve only been driving the car for a week and its already given me a big headache and could end up emptying my piggy bank for a while due to the cost
