Putting a resistor in series with the ECU water temp sensor used to
be a favourite way of getting more gas into the engine. The resistor (and sometimes it was a small rotary pot) makes the ECU think that the engine is cold, and it richens the fuel mixture. Maybe you can go to a garage with a tailpipe WBO2 probe, and have them measure the AFR's to see if you are running rich ?? Cheers... jondee86 |
