Okay, a little info that might or might not come in handy:
Toyota OEM diff carrier bearings cost about 60 euro's over here in Holland. I found a part number for a good aftermarket replacement (made by SKF bearings): LM501349/310 Sadly they are a tad more expensive over here than in the USA: around 43 euro's including the damned 19% sales tax. I think they only cost about 40 dollars in the US so it might even pay off to order some from there if there are more buyers. I'm really suspecting bearing failure to be the cause of most diff problems. My noisy as hell ring and pinion dont look very worn at all... the teeth are still sharp. Mux's old r+p which I'm using now makes less noise but also looks to be intact. Another possibility is that the crush sleeve has caused the pinion to come out of adjustment, which is very possible since trd makes metal spacers to replace them with for harsh use (racing/drifting.
