alimonos, actually I can not tell much about the conversion, since it was done by the previous owner. All I can say it is not plug & play. A metal piece is welded to the hood to bend it down and meet the grill so it looks similar to AE82 hood. The fenders are cut (and maybe also welded) to fit the headlights. Custom mounts are fabricated for headlights.
ZaX, we still don't know what's wrong with the engine. It is too cold outside to have pleasure working on the car. However the engine on the third car is supposed to be less or more ok, so probably we can assemble one engine from the two, or even use it as it is. |
