often it isn't the company making it, but their design of the piston that matters most.

In my experience a flat crown on the piston top is far better for performance then a steep crown. The reasons are 2 fold, 1) a high crown tends to come to a point which can lead to that point getting too hot and causing ping, 2) The high crown damages flow
