New guy from Germany with question about an 86 (pics inside)

The paint needs some care of course...red is always susceptible.....and the car looks not that rusty as you may think, just some minor patches and the rear wheel arch on the right side, the rest seems to be okay. The car has to pass the "TüV" at the end of this month, i´ll be also there and have a look under the car....To be honest, i don´t expect a really good condition, but he´s never been driven it in winter time...it just stood in front of the house, the whole winter....so maybe the salt hasn´t done what it normally does to cars at this age.
