Hi,
Normally you should run your engine with lambda 0.90, this is the best value for performance. But for sure you can only check it on a dyno. Mine engine needed lambda 0.87 under full load. When you have a cat you should map lambda 1.00 (in part load). The reason for this is that the cat only works in a small range around lambda 1.00 A simple rule: For performance you need lambda 0.90 and for economics you should map lambda 1.10. Full load, best performance between 0.90 – 0.88. I hope this helps. Ron |
