Can you try refinishing the old fuel rail and regulator? There isn't really any performance to be gained in the regulator unless you plan on doing some very dirty oldschool tuning or boost. I would save those pennies to spend on something you'll really notice and enjoy later on.
The OEM regulator is nicely small and light. It fits perfectly on the fuelrail and gives exactly the right pressures and flows for normal 4A-GE's. Most aftermarket items seem to be built for airplanes.. To be honest, I would consider them mostly a downgrade due to their weight. Every regulator out there will work (just don't use a carby unit).
