You can do this the easy way, or the hard way....
If you have the original bigport RWD, just strip everything you need
from the bigport and swap it onto the smallport. If you get an inlet adapter plate, you can use the bigport manifold, injectors, harness and ECU. Easy peasy, but you don't get the torque benefit from the smallport inlet manifold design. If you cut-n-shut the smallport manifold, you should use the smallport injectors and ECU. Means a lot of rewiring, and you would need a FWD smallport engine harness to butcher for the plugs. Smallport JDM injectors are high impedence, so no resistors required. Cheers... jondee86 |
