Rightoh, here are the koni partnumbers. These are not oem shocks, no ae92 or sw20. They are better quality then the normal yellows and also a bit more expensive. Should stand up better to the rigors of racing. Also to fit them you might need to sand some paint off them since they are slightly thicker then ideal. The Koni 8610-1437RACE is a rebound is adjustable shock with bigger cylinders then stock(less hysterisis and more stable under high temps. With the 8611-1259RACE you can idependently adjust compresion and rebound.
The shocks (when valved correctly) are in no way comparable with normal ae86 offerings. They are leagues ahead of HTS/TRD etc. For the rears google around for the sportcompactcar article describing their coilover build. You might need a bit more travel, but you'll have some partnumbers to start from. Also try and find the koni race catalog online, these contain the shocks sold to racers directly.
