I didn't try this one. But I would say between 6000-Redline you'll outperform the 256-264 setup maybe by 5hp. But from 0 - 6000 you'll lose massive overall. The 272 setup needs more than 8000RPM imho.
I did my calc's and I'll hit for 256-264 a decent ported head and 10:1 - 10.2:1 comp ratio on a fresh bottom end. Edit: ![]() Stock head, 9.4:1 cr |
