I have some figures for an Opel Kadet GTE (rwd)
142 flywheel hp 4.75 cwp 185/70/13 tyres 995 kg 30-50 2nd gear 3.1 seconds 30-50 5th gear 5.8 seconds What is the relevance ? Well it shows how the torque of a 2 litre engine really helps acceleration, I would expect a similar weight AE86 with similar power to compete in 2nd gear but 5th gear 30-50 in 5.8 seconds ? I bet it would be +8 seconds. An analogue brain in a digital World |
