Need Engine Help...

Ok so im bout to buy a 1986 AE86 coupe, didnt wanna be like everyone i had seen at car shows and such and get a hatch...
so its runnin a 3tc engine and has been gutted for racing, shedded every pound i could. so im gettin it for either $450 or $650. I say either cause my boy is sellin it to me for 450 if he doesnt get the ignition issues worked out... and 650 if he does... now the car needs some work for it to be where i want it so im wantin outside opinions... wat ya guys think? and where can i get parts for a 3tc... particularly a turbo for the 3tc cause he picked up the engine without it... and if im correct the 3tc is a engine built to run a turbo...
also if you guys have any suggestion for gettin the car runnin properly it would help... the engine is turnin over but its not firing...
