Usually the leak is caused by the pipe not seating properly, tightening it up more may ruin the flange on the pipe.
Try undoing the union until it is almost out then pull the pipe hard, this should seat the pipe square against the union, continue pulling whilst doing up the union. hth TC An analogue brain in a digital World |
