There should be two wires going to the starter. One is energised by the
keyswitch and drives the solenoid. The solenoid pushes the pinion out and closes the starter motor contacts. This one is working. The second heavier wire supplies power directly from the battery to the starter motor contacts... this one is not working !!! Trace it back towards the battery and check for broken or disconnected wires. Cheers... jondee86 |
