for the piston pin , don't know how it's blue . when assembling it piston was heated and pin stay a night in freezer. I didn't do that job myself and may be it was a reused pin ( don't know why as a new piston comes with new axle).

For the break between rings path, I already had that on 2 pistons , and the first time occur with my first break , when timing was totally false .
The pistons brand is Mahle , and not Toyota
