Hi from NZ
I've 'borrowed' so much useful info off this site I thought I better join! I live in Wellington NZ. Over the years I've had three AE86s and one AE85 for good measure.
Currently have the worlds biggest moneypit, an October 1983 JDM Sprinter Trueno GT Apex (first of the best zenki AE86. It had a full bare metal rebuild inside and out in 2005 which included every nut and bolt being replaced. at the time it was dressed up with the 'wide and low racer / bodykit look' but now has a fresh JDM factory finish. It looks dead stock from the outside (you'd swear it was 1983 again!) but runs a 490rwhp worked 1UZ fed by a 1950cfm S/C ...with a dry weight of 980kg its one mean sleeper
