Turbo works, but can be a little bit unreliable. If you're adapting your own gear, make it suck through (carby before the turbo). Have a look at old (carby) charged setups.
A guy in Australia said he got good results from a cam regrind and a larger carby. First things first though, make sure your engine is in good condition, filters, timing, compression, spark. A cold air induction would probably help and for the cost of some pvc/flex pipe, it's a cheap option. They're hard to kill and easily/cheaply (free) replaced, so have fun playing around and save for the 4age. Chris |
