So Toyota thought about that a bit harder than on the AE86.

Haha yep I guess so.

Took it for a spin today, felt good to drive it finally haha.

Few things to sort out, diff is really noisy and clunky, can see why they dont reccomend it for road use!

Still a lot to do though, didnt go too far where any police might be, as it's not very inconspicuous with a lot of the outside trim still missing.

Pretty noisy too so didnt want to annoy the neighbours too much, didnt give it too much of a rev out. But pulls strongly when I gave it a bit of gas, pretty happy with most of it so far, a lot of work left to do though.

Your Carina is looking fantastic Roman, I like the way you do a different write up for every forum, my posts are always ctrl + C, ctrl + V. Lazy etc.

Can anyone tell me whether the front doors (and windscreen) from a 4 door sedan will fit a wagon?

From memory the front doors are the same, but the rear doors are different.

Front windscreen, front gaurds, lights, etc etc are all swappable between the 2 door, sedan or wagon.

I've got a few trim pieces on mine that are a little worse for wear, or I cant find them.

So checked with Toyota, no parts available for everything I queried

No tail lights, no trim pieces, no front or rear bumpers.

Not sure if they have any parts at all.

I'm sure they would have been heinously overpriced either way, but would have been nice to know that they were available.

So still looking for a top edge windscreen trim if anyone's got one! haha.

Some one is wrecking that red AA63 sedan that used to be owned by a GD member (red with stars on the doors), it's on TM. It's in Dunners, so you buy a windscreen trim and I'll buy the front doors and combine shipping to Auckland

Yeah I asked the guy if he had that top windscreen trim but said he was gonna have a look and get back to me.

Sounds like a good plan if the guy's keen and can find the trim, will pitch in for shipping...

I know where there's another carina wagon over the shore, I saw came across it while on a heavily hung over walk of shame back to my car in devonport hahaha. Should go hit him up if he wants to sell.

I've got the number of a dude I harassed up north who had a carina wagon, made him promise me he'd flick me a txt when it came time to sell. Might pester him again haha.

There's also another one sitting on a front yard in Whangarei that I had the address for, but lost with garage dori PMs.
