Haha bumpers had a hard time staying on

Pics from last thursday round 2of the Yokohama cup in Zolder.

I arrived in the morning, got the rolla of the trailer and went for a test run. Everything worked, so got into outfit and started practice. Tried some twin drifting and noticed I was much faster then pretty much anyone there

Then qualifiying, first battle, Jasper Spaan, I knew he was the one to beat so had to stay close. Straightened out in the first run because I was too close, second run was good. Other battles went great and qualified 2nd overall. Very excited as I thought I made a few errors.

Then final time, group of 6 drifters, very high level of drifting.
All battles went great, then Enter Mr. Jasper Spaan I made a slight error and came to a full stop.
Jury told us when the podium was being called out, that if I didn't made that mistake the win was mine, but now had to settle for 4th overall.

Bummed out, but still very pleased with my finish. All I can say is roll on final round. You can see my final battle against Jasper in the video, that stop in the final corner cost me my first win

Good news, I found a new sponsor and my corolla is getting fresh paint before the final round

I am prepping the car myself, they are doing the painting, pictures when the car is finished :wink:

for me, swaping engine for non toyota is killing a soul of hachi

BUT!

if you want more power in your 4age,you need alot of $$$$
and it stops at 200bhp,and now with a sr20det engine i can compete against the"big bhp cars" and it cost less then tuning a 4age...
but yessss is kills the spirit of the hachi,but for drift competition you will need big power,but yeah,it now has 308bhp and 435nm,and next year i will built another engine,2.2 stroker,bigger turbo etc,goal is 450bhp,and im building it for time attack and trackdays
