Even with the stock gasket they will interfere in such case.Just to make you feel better, there is a tiny chance (i would say there's no chance but you never know Tongue

) for the valves to remain opened if the belt fails...Keep in mind that there are valve springs and camshaft inertia that play role in the above equation!
