Exactly, I think thats your hole problem. The original sideskirted cars already rot like hell even if you took proper care of them due to rot settling in. Let alone if you start drilling holes into a body and then somehow try to rust proof those holes with a car that didn't have sideskirts. I think the best route is to make sure the layer of paint on the body work is rock solid, then glue the skirts on and make sure moisture can't be trapped inside by leaving some holes in the underside of the skirts and then just filling the things up with some anti rust stuff like waxoil or something.. but thats just my humble opinion Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |
