I think this is the HKS I was talking about, from the picture it looks slim enough to fit western cars. any experience?

martelius is awesome and is designed to fit lhd cars

the R1 manifold is exellent for both light tuned and high tuned 4age

we just installed the R1 manifold on a BT 20valve and it pulls extremely well

Martelius also do a street spec 4-2-1 system for lhd ae86 thats only around 300euro

Details......

I DO have some specifics about what would be my ideal header... if you know a header builder interested...... I'm looking for one to be built

4 into 1
stepped primaries - 35mm at the flange for 100mm, then 38mm primaries for 61cm total primary length 71cm
Tapered smooth flowing 4into 1 collector 51mm in diameter

If you really want that HKS header I can get it. Pops up on Yahoo Japan every once in while.

But it seems a bit restrictive compared to the good headers. Some of the auctions show 50 mm diameter exit. Small compared to Toda at 60 mm.

Good for a street tune but you might want more later on.

$300 - $400 USD. Could be a lot cheaper. The problem is waiting for a few months for one to pop up and box is bulky so shipping is expensive.

Actual header can be had for about $100 from the last few I kept an eye on.

I just got one in good conditions in the japanese auction for around 20000 yen ($200). so, yes, it would be around $400 calculating shipping etc. the real problem is, does it actually fit lhd cars?
