Banpei, I dont think peter was talking about the opels in the drift compoSmile

From our point of view it was a bit lost on us, but remember the two citroens that were joined together? Looking through the smoke it created you would have seen some opels without doors from the Outlaw group being head to head creating smoke.. real lame stuff...

It looks even worse than I had predicted. Thank God I didn't come. It would frustrate me as Hell.

I've seen small movies, but it seems there is no course? Just circles around the big center podium?

My reply was to AndrE86, and that was about the participating Opels... Wink

But the Outlaw Opels were very annoying. Had a good laugh about their double BX, but that's all. Also the ugly duckling was very annoying: gave a lot of noise and just did not move one inch for about 10 minutes. Just full throttle and buring rubber. Undecided

Yup. Exiting the circle did not count for the contest, but if you spun outside the circle it would even count over there. So the rules were just one big mess. Did not make any sense at all. Angry

Great news is that I fugured out how image galleries in Mambo work, and put most of my pictures online:

To bad the show wasn't fully focused on drifting and more on car shows next time we should participate with more hachi's with expirienced drivers

p-nut
jasper
jesse ???

(note only dutch than i don;t count kristian)

they didn't thought of the surface which was based on a concrete plate drift way with way to much grip in the end.

driftworks did some nice shows and drifted pretty well :-)

Kristian it has been a nice introduction for people seeing that a toyota can do these things and of course your run was very good to bad it ended with the last spin

Cars:
"99 Lexus IS200
"86 AE86 Kouki Panda Levin GT-Apex (restore project)
"84 AE86 Zenki Blue Levin (project racer)
Motorcycles:

"08 BMW R1200GS

thanxs man & thanxs for the help with the car !-

if the judges had followed the simple rules Sad .. i would have been in the best 8 - since both Phil & I spun out in the last corner - but i also drowe away from him in the second pass.

I already hated automaxx, and it even was getting worse saturday.
These things happen on EVERY meeting from them.

Organization sucked, communication sucked, the show sucked (except Russ Swift and Pyromaniac), the judges sucked etc. etc.

It was really nice to meet some AEU86 people, that was about the best point i can figure out from that meeting Smile

I'm uploading movies (and some pictures) now Smile
