nice project man. Thumbs up! I think you dont need to show the welding you did when the car finished as they are under the car, nobody going under the car to look on it Tongue. I would be proud for myself if I could patch/weld my car as you did. Thumbs up! good work man and finish it soon!

It just shows how precise and accurate cannabolic's work is. That's a big plus as these welds will last him forever. Someone just might learn the lesson from those photos.

Great stuff Wave

Thanks for the kind words Smile
appreciate it a lot Thumbs up!

I'm not happy with the first result ( look a lot worse up close), but like I said, hopefully it'll get better.

Manage to spot weld the "middle" reinforcement.

Thanks a lot Apolan!

Started with the rear today. Was a lot of rust above the exhaust.

Cut it out, cleaned it and sprayed with phosphoric acid.

Yeah, but those welds make it hard for me to sleep at night Big Grin

...so I'll probably deal with them later.

Meanwhile I started to make the rear. First, I thought of bending/shaping a u-profile, but that was to hard. It's 1,5 mm 2 mm thick and I don't have the equipment.
I'll just make 4 pieces which I'll weld together.

Will make two new ones and replace the two first.

Thanks robokill Smile It's the first time I'm doing this kind of stuff and I'm enjoying it a lot Thumbs up!
